Skid Steer Cutter

Which motor (low, med, high) do I need to order for my power unit?
Answer

First, you will need to know the flow gpm of your power unit. Once you know this, refer to the Operator’s Manual for the motor requirements (manual can be found on Related Products Page below).

What material can I cut and what size?
Answer

Any organic material grass, wood and up to 2” diameter material.

What is the chain at the hitch for?
Answer

This is a check chain. It is designed to hook to the power unit to keep the mower height 18” and under from the ground height.

What is the blade tip speed?
Answer

It varies with the gpm and pressure of the power unit and which one of the three motors that is on the unit. There is a charge located in the specifications page in the Operator’s Manual (manual can be found on Related Products Page below).

How tall is the front of the SC40 cutter off the ground?
Answer

Without the front roller option, the front edge of the deck is 11-1/2" off the ground.  With the front roller option, the front edge of the deck is 12" off the ground.

Does the SC40 skid cutter have the same dishpan and blade system on the SC40 as the SC25 Skid Cutter?
Answer

No, The SC40 Skid Cutter have a 5/8 plate with three free swing blades on it.

Stump Grinders

What is the maximum cutting depth of the SSG25?
Answer

The maximum depth is 8".

Are the teeth replaceable on the SSG25?
Answer

Yes, there are 32 carbide teeth, and they are replaceable.

Post Hole Diggers

What kind of output shaft does it have?
Answer

We offer two different output shafts. We have a 2 9/16" round and 2" hex shaft.

Do you offer auger extensions?
Answer

We offer two extensions, a 24" and 48" auger extensions in both hex and round shaft.

Can I reverse the auger?
Answer

Yes, this unit is hydraulically reversible.

Snow Blowers

My skid steer has hydraulic flow of 30 GPM can I run the SBL25 low flow motor?
Answer

No, if you run that snow blower damage can occur to the motor from the wrong flow going through it.

Do I need to run the SBL25 in float?
Answer

Yes, not running in float will cause premature wear on the skid shoes.

Angle Brooms

What kind of bristles can I get?
Answer

There are three types.  We offer a poly bristles, wire bristles, or poly/wire bristles.

What is the difference in the bristle types?
Answer

The poly bristles are more gentle on the surface.  The wire or steel bristles are for the stubborn caked on areas.

How far does the AB angle?
Answer

30 Degrees left or right.

SGC20 Claw Grapples

What is the space between tines?
Answer

There is 6" spacing between the tines.

What is the maximum jaw opening?
Answer

Maximum jaw opening is 50 inches.

SGR15 Rock Grapples

What is the maximum Jaw opening?
Answer

The maximum jaw opening is 37".

Do the grapple claws stop at the same time?
Answer

No the grapple claws are two cylinder independent.  Which means if one claw stops on an object the other claw will go till it touches an object in the bucket.

SRB15 Rock Bucket

Can I add the top jaw later if I want to?
Answer

No the top jaw requires weldments that are not on the bucket model.

SGM15 Manure Grapples

What is the jaw opening?
Answer

The jaw will open up to 40".

Can I handle bales with the SGM15?
Answer

Yes, spikes can be removed depending on bale weight and size, max of 500 lbs. per spike.

Are the bottom spears replaceable?
Answer

Yes you can replace the spears if one happens to bend.

GB30 Scrap Bucket

What is the maximum jaw opening?
Answer

Maximum jaw opening is 40-1/2".

RG30 Root Grapple

What is the maximum jaw opening?
Answer

Maximum jaw opening is 39-1/2".

CB25 Combination Buckets

What is the maximum opening of the clamshell?
Answer

Maximum opening of the clamshell is 33".

What does the counterbalance valve do?
Answer

The counterbalance valve prevents hydraulic bleed-off and improves cylinder control.

PFL Pallet Forks

Why are the forks hard to slide?
Answer

You may need to add some grease to the carrying bar to help the fork slide better.

Why are my forks shifting sideways on the carrying bar?
Answer

Your locking pin handle is not engaged in locking groove. Position locking pins over locking grooves on carrying bar and rotate locking handle down to engage locking pin.

Trip Edge Blades

What cutting edge options are there?
Answer

You have the options of a steel or poly replaceable cutting edge.

Can I move the angle cylinder while pushing snow?
Answer

Yes the angle cylinder on the TB25 can move the blade side to side as you move.

Tree/Post Puller

How big of a tree can I get in the jaw?
Answer

You can get a 10" maximum tree in the jaw of the STP15 and STP25.

Can I put the STP15 on an SVL75?
Answer

No, the STP15 is rated for 30-65 HP.  Putting it on a bigger machine will damage the frame.

Skid Rakes

How far will the SR27 angle?
Answer

The SR27 will angle 20 degrees to the left or right.

Can I make my SRF27 into a SR27?
Answer

No, the SRF27 has a different frame then the SR27.

Skid Grader

My skid shoes are wearing differently. What is causing that?
Answer

Be sure you are running in float. Not doing so can cause uneven wear on the skid shoes.

Can I adjust the cutting edge to grade a crown in the road?
Answer

Yes, the blade height adjustment can be higher on one side to do a crownG25

Skid Auger

Do you offer a tree auger?
Answer

Yes, we offer different sizes. We have 24", 30", and 36".

Can I reverse the auger?
Answer

Yes, this unit is hydraulically reversible.

Skid Hitch

Why are my implements lower hitch pins loose in the skid hitch lower lugs?
Answer

You will need to add bushings to take the excess room up. Please see your operators manual under spare bushings.
